Anfang September besuchte uns Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger, die Antisemitismusbeauftragte des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen, um die Arbeit des Zentrums für Erinnerungskultur kennenzulernen. Die Auseinandersetzung mit Antisemitismus in Vergangenheit und Gegenwart gehört zu den einschlägigen Themen des Zentrums und wird auch von vielen Lehrer/innen in Duisburg für Workshops und Ausstellungsbesuche angefragt.

Robin Richterich und Dr. Andreas Pilger haben den lokalgeschichtlichen und biographischen Ansatz des Zentrums bei dem fruchtbaren Austausch vorgestellt. Frau Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger und ihre Kollegen Michael Anders und Said Koumbaz haben uns ermutigt, die digitalen Formate in den sozialen Netzwerken auszubauen und vor allem dabei die Schüler/innen einzubinden.

Wir bedanken uns für den spannenden und anregenden Austausch und freuen uns auf eine weitere Zusammenarbeit beim Kampf gegen Antisemitismus.
